83 seconds around the ballarat autocross track in a 5k'd KE20. 3 seconds off a STi modded WRX.

 

Put my VY wagon through a course I was timing for a classic car rally and would have beaten half the cars entered. My old mans deisel Patrol did the same thing and wouldn't have came last.....

the NA 4.2 shouldnt pour smoke unless you have wound the pump up?

 

try driving a GQ ute coil front and rear with no front sway bar, body roll and understeer like you wouldnt believe, but shit, i wouldnt rather anything else :)

I have a AE71, 4A-C Motor has a 32/36 weber, I grinded the intake manifold a bit, T50 box, Monroe Shocks, Kings Springs, Fulcrum Steering rack, produces about 58hp at the wheels, 90 at the flywheel. Putting a 4.3:1 diff in soon, looking for some nice extractors (if they exist for a 4A-C).

don't really know much about it, I found it on a write-off AE71, so i took it.

Bolted it on. It didnt affect steering ratio, but it's a bit easier to turn the wheel.

Maybe talk to fulcrum about one?

I once done like a 30CM skid in my 3K 2speed which was awesome (running 145/80's) but it then preceded to be beaten by an old man on his push bike.

Yea, it was most likely just a brand new equivilent of the standard rack.

But it was better than what i had.
