Medicine_Man Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Ah, yes! but did you remember to study this too?? http://www.billzilla.org/4agstock.htm :P Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 10, 2005 Author Report Posted January 10, 2005 naughty nick 1 Engines 13:5 and the lord said thou shalt not covet the fart-sounder, for the CA is a much stronger motor, and even though his turbo is small, and his capacity is not as great, he is half the price of the SR and can easily make just as much power so he kicks ass Quote
Teddy Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 LOL ! - i want a copy of that bible !!! Quote
irokin Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Its true. I know people who have done SR conversions and gone "I want my CA back"....but I also know people that have gone the other way. Quote
mumblezzz Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Dirty tractor engines I tells ya. Never underestimate the mighty CA. Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 hmm looks like phils done an update... took me a little longer (30secs) to find an inaccuracy! :P hehe last time i read bills page there were several mistakes.... but still a very good site nontheless. i think it mainly stemmed that a lot of his info was from engines he thought were from one thing but were actually from another. its still my dream to make a site with all the part number and production date info etc along with pics... if only i knew how to make websites!! :) Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 10, 2005 Author Report Posted January 10, 2005 no, the lord just doesn't like his car to sound like a gay droney fartbox Quote
demuire Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 To help me make my 4AGE faster! :P *haha, fook dreams on* Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 4AGEs suffer any oil surge problems? Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 woah, thats a fair bit of money, but i suppose if you are dead serious with your racing it would be a good investment.. Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 they are ok as long as you keep the level up!! they only hold 3 litres in the sump.... so wings on the sump is a good idea... if your running it in a mega grippy sports car then maybe some more baffling would be a good idea Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 that's an awful lot for a dry sump kit. i swear i've seen them going for as low as 5 grand? Quote
demuire Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 The factory headers are said to be able to flow up to about 200'ish hp, so that's not exactly a bottleneck at the moment. I've got the factory primaries and custom secondaries, the factory secondaries wouldn't fit in my car. I know someone who makes winged sumps for 20V 4AGEs. Quote
