demuire Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Mmm, Wayno did a pretty good job of that lip didn't he? Wow :P Maybe I should start chipping out body deadener again, I've been slack. I've done bits and pieces of my floor and bits and pieces off the transmission tunnel, but a lot still remains... Nice work, Rob :) Can't wait to see it all in red ;) Quote
demuire Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Actually, just thought about it - if you really want Bluey to lose some weight, look for some KE35 doors. They weigh about half as much as KE55 ones... Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 because they don't have the sydney harbor bridge inside them, anti-crash rubbish Quote

demuire Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I've got one KE35 door and one KE55 door, maybe I should go look for another good KE35 door :P Quote

demuire Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 (edited) Ooooooh COOL RED!!! :D yay, bluedwarf gets a proper color :) ps: how on earth did you paint it so nicely without getting overspray on anything??? With a brush??? Edited January 15, 2005 by demuire Quote
Redwarf Posted January 15, 2005 Author Report Posted January 15, 2005 Low pressure gun, and we had partially un-masked the car by then. How hard is it to choose the colour red? There were thousands of the damn things. Unfortunately we couldn't match Dwarf red, too. :P Quote
demuire Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 No? I thought Dwarf red was an off the shelf color, didn't you get that front guard painted recently? So you used one of those high volume low pressure guns? What are they like to use? My dad keeps asking me about them because apparently you're meant to paint planes with them, and I keep telling him I don't know anything about them (but he keeps asking me everytime he sees me anyway).
