See thread, start on page 2. Look out for posts by edgar_raphael, he posts some pics as well.

It's basically an AE111 Corolla, with full ST215 GT4 gear, including the 4WD system and the dash and instrumentation...

Cool :P

That has allways been my dream with maxi, drop a 3sgte in (it fits but just barely) and wack in the AWD & brake setup, however if I were to do that I think I would have to make the rear suspension indapendent?

What did the AE111 come out with ? anyone know?

He states he uses a toyota wagon AWD setup, I assume it could be the rolla 4wd? but strengthened using GT4 bits?

I love the setup, specially that intercooler too.. perfect size and shape! :P

the ae111 was forced, it was a turbo awd rally car, and there was one of them. singular. you can import an ae111 levin but that's a long sedan car, not a seca-style hatch like the ae101 or ae112. afaik, the last force inducted corolla was the ae101 with 4agze, and prior to that the ae92 with 4agze

speaking of, i was driving behind an imported fwd levin sedan yesterday, white with SA plates and tokico stickers on it. it looked cool :P

ae111 came out with 4afe, 4age

ae112 came out with 7afe, for some reason toyota oz decided to turbo the ae112.

don't know about the sportivos mumblzzz is talking about.

it depends on your outlook.. toyota motor company never made a turbo a series. but one or two country divisons may have.

dunno how official it is though.... toyota oz can't even supply a clutch for the ae112 version... i got emailed by a toyota dealer in oz needing one! :)
