I have been looking around this board for a few days now but i cannot find the information i want.

Tomorrow i will pick up twe KE35's, one will be the "good" car, the other wil be the donor car.

First thing that must be done is lowering the car, but i cannot find what is the best way for lowering the front.

I already figured out the rear, but the front... How do you guys do that?

What struts to use, other dampers, ready to use kits available?

thanks,

Eric

thanks, i already found the topic from the Belgium guy.

I will look for some shortstroke AE86 dampers and shorten my damperhousing with 4cm.

I was told ae92 GTi rear dampers will fit too :lolcry:

ok whats your budget to start off with? because it can range from using an angle grinder or buying full aftermarket coilovers, also what is the car used for?

Well, the car wil just be a daily driver since i am completely rebuilding a TE71 with 4age 20V and that is were my money is going.

So, i don't want to spend the world on the KE.

I do want to be sure that it is save to drive and has a little bit of comfort.

No cutting springs etc.

The damper thing is figured out, shorter ae86 KYB dampers wil fit my damper housings if i shorten the housings 4 cm.

Only thing i need to find is a set of matching springs like these :

The problem is the 240sx ones are a little to wide to fit the KE damper housing and i can't find a set of these for the AE86.

Just ordered a set of weld on coilovers and a set of rca's from T3, already have my whiteline loweringblocks at home.

Rear dampers kan be changed for something better too?
