Well I'm a newby with the corollas and i need some info, what engines for KE55's are bolt in?

I'm guessing up to the 7k-c?

ATM i have a 4k-c thats sitting in it and a standard 4 speed gear box, we will probably be doing a conversion to 5speed.

 

All that we don't want is engine mount changes and nothing over the top that will be money consuming.(Yes i know, high standards, but i'm not the one with the cash)

but yeah, anything up to a 7k will fit in, pretty sure the 7k needs the sump modded as the block is taller?

If you bothered to look you will find a rb20 bolts straight in with RA22 crossmembers (also bolt in not much modification.) .

2t-g bolts in, onto the engine mounts at least

different story with the gearbox mounts but

Click the kowledge base/FAQ tab at the top and read.....read, and read some more.

 

Then come back in a week and tell us what your bolt in options are. :bash:
