I haven't ever seen an IDF carb on a 4K, normally people only put them on V8's. I wonder if it was done because of clearance issues with the strut tower and DCOE with any length of ram tube in a KE10. Redwarf was saying there's enough troubles in a KE20.

IDF's must be common over there. Check this publica out with them.

 

 

The ke10 is tough looking though.

After seeing that philbey, I'm 100% sure its cause of clearance issues with the strut tower. Look at the engine bay, hardley any room at all.

 

Would be a sick setup though. A lot of good stuff in japan I can tell ya lol

Yeh could be. I test fitted up my DHLA's though, sans trumpets it's not too bad. 50mm from tower to the face of the carbs.
