wyldephyre Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 You'd need to get your licence first, before you can go on the pan though. So best to pull that thumb out! :D Maybe I can go as an instructor :D Naah, I wanna drive tooooooo! You can drive the Wagon. Quote
demuire Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Nick: you sure on the learners licence thing? Haikal: Drive the wagon instead of Hal? nevah! :D Quote
mumblezzz Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I might need to borrow someone elses car. I got a noise complaint the last time I was there. Quote
Teddy Posted March 23, 2005 Author Report Posted March 23, 2005 Noise complaint? God dam oldies - take the entire exhaust system off to make the all deff. That will shut them up. Quote
ae71neo Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 The red one surely isnt loud enough for a noise complaint? Quote
Xany Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 hmmmm......noise complaints?.......i might get a few of them..... Quote
mumblezzz Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 Already sold the CA sprinter. The red car has very little in the way on sound muffling. Extractors through no cat to a tiny fart cannon is rather noisy at 8000 rpm. Quote
irokin Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 *giggles looking at the 3.5" system he just bought for the silvia* mmm jasma goodness Quote
Teddy Posted March 25, 2005 Author Report Posted March 25, 2005 i could make a K motor louder than any nissan motor anyday :) Mahahahhahaa lolol :D Quote
irokin Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 yea it wont be very loud at all. 2 mufflers both filled with fiberglass packing....it will be very deep though. and being jasma certified its gotta be under something like 90dba Quote
irokin Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 hahaha I'll just take the front pipe off and just run it straight out of the dump pipe....its allll good :D Quote
demuire Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Yea unfortunately Mt Cotton is a "Driver Training" center, meant for "defensive driving", so it isn't really meant to cater for "hoons" going out in their hotted up cars and revving constantly at 8000RPM as they go round and round the pan in a very doriftor fashion... As much fun as that is. And just like Lakeside, our favourite residents who decided to purchase property near the center have decided they don't really like the sound of constantly revving exhausts, so they come around and complaint, which is a real PITA. Sad but true. Mumblezz: Try driving the skidpan in 3rd. That's what I do in Hal, and once you get used to it I'd say it's almost as good as 2nd, and a hell of a lot quieter. A little harder, as there isn't as much response, but if you can keep the speed up, no worries. Not that I'm really used to anything, as I've only driven Hal on the pan for a total of maybe 15 minutes in total... I think Haikal wanted to do this, now. I wouldn't mind, if there's an extra spot. But if not, no worries... Quote
wyldephyre Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Positive on the learners thing, although learners must have a passenger just in case. This was valid with all of the sideline ones I have been to. I'm fine with that. Count Me In! Quote
irokin Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Time to set a date for this me thinks... Quote
