Hey, the first route even starts just down the road from my place! I vote 1st meet point in the marsh! Lol

 

I may or may not be able to do a run around this time. The girl and I have just bought a house and get the keys on the 19th of Dec, will be away the weekend before that as well... and come to think of it we will be away for christmas too! $$$ will be pretty tight so the wagon will most likely be staying home if I'm on the trip.

 

Sounds like a plan anyway, the 1st route would be pretty good. don't take the estimated time to seriously though, I would add about 45mins to that to be on the safe side as theres alot of twisties out there to slow(?) you all down.

There is a classic celica cruise next weekend starts at lilydale lake. Seriouslly recomend it they are a great bunch of guys and put on a really good day out. I was going to take the rolla but only if i have the few things that concern me fixed. oh and i have a wedding the nght before.

Went down to geelong for the dyno day at daltons on the weekend. Really nice down that way, that's another spot to think of.

being from Geelong and all....err...WHERE?!? outside of the picturesque waterfront - only really good on a sunny day, you end up heading down towards torquay or inland towards the brisbane ranges before you hit any 'interesting' roads...

Can always end up at a nice BBQ in Rippleside Park in Geelong, I make my way there monthly in the wags for a rod n custom meet....

hehe, theres a good play ground there too...hmmm...possibilities. but they turned off the poppy kettle fountain... :bash:

 

on a small point of note - did a scouting mission of the posible west cruise today, and discovered that half the roads i had marked were unsealed...not sure how people feel about that, but i could kind of live without them, 8th person in the queue's dust is never a nice thing...apart from that, the sealed stuff was great fun...

Definately not taking the '30 down a dusty road and i'm sure never wont either haha. Just how fun were the sealed roads?

I'm more worried about birds and small children getting caught in my scoop than dust :bash:
