found some new rims today the fella only wanted a hundred for the set so i couldnt pass it up, i need a half decent set of wheels for the time being...

 

not sure of sizes but i measured them and overall diameter was 15 so i'm guessing there 14's.. and there 7" wide.. no markings any were though they look like aungers

 

can any one on here tell me how i measure offset ?

 

 

 

also got some ra40's, put them in as soon as they show up lol

probs around +15 if there 14s as they look like they have same dish as my new 14's

 

but sorry i don't know how to measure offset

Thats an estimate for offest could even be closer to +10..dunno

i restored the one in the pic tonight.. took me about 2 hours lol but come up real nice, had a heap of gutter rash and a small crack on the inside that i tig welded up.

 

can't wait to get some decent rubber on them

To find offset, measure entire width, lip to lip. Find the centre (divide the lip to lip measurement), measure how far the mounting of the face is from this centre, that is your offset.

 

I'll draw it out for you if that doesn't make any sense to you..

there roughly 18cm wide...so what does that mean there offset is 9cm ? or am i doing it wrong?

ah i see a bit better now lol.. well they fit snug any ways.. there about half an inch from the gaurds

got some rubber coming soon when i get a bit more money.. i bought some doof today, couldnt help my self, and started making a custom boot enclosure..

bandpass enclousure with two 12's... they just fit ha ha.. needs a decent mono block amp because the one i got is clipping bad

 

at the moment I'm running two 6x9s in a custom parcel shelf (custom cause i trimmed it my self lol) with two tweeters in the b pillars (splits in the boot) and two 10 cm clarion 2 ways in the standard spot, with 2 cheap arse "boss" amps

If you measured it correctly and got 2cm or 20mm, that'll be your offset. Rim diameter by width with an offset of +20mm.

i rediscovered today being cheeky to the coppers doesnt get you to far...

just so happened i fukd the main seal a few hours before, was just bout to go borrow and engine crane to drop a motor in

 

got me for :

 

seat belts not retracting

oil leaks

no air filter

locker diff

bald tyres

to low

speedo not working

smashed windscreen

and "inexsesive body roll"

 

not real happy but it was coming my way :y:

 

i went off my head when he hopped in the drivers seat and scratched my pillar with his gun.. he threatened to lock me up haha
