Wandering around Wacol today, saw a car that looked a bit unusual. Looked under the bonnet, and hmm, strange! Couldn't recognise the engine, it was SOHC, with factory twin carbs (it even said "Dual Carburettor" or something on the rather strange looking airbox). Looked at the firewall, it said "3A-SU". Never seen one of these before...

 

It looks like a Corolla GP or something. It's a hatch, but on the steering wheel it says "Tercel".

I'm pretty sure they are FWD if it's a tercel.

they're not bad cars; they're kinda like a saab where the engine sits on the transaxle. my buddy jeff has a 4wd wagon (estate?) out in california

yeh I know which one fook is talking about, and yeh it has a FWD east west gearbox on a north south engine, I was very excited when I saw one for the 1st time, ... I thought they were RWD.. :dance:

Sometimes I don't browse around the site to much .... cause i get lazy and yeh i'm bad... so I miss heaps of stuff.. but lately I've been getting back into the swing of things.
