May 8, 200917 yr comment_343046 Just got my leaf springs reset for the KE55.. asked for a 2" drop and one leaf add in to make 5 a pack. Got them home today, put them in and its only dropped by 1" its still 4wd style :P And they did cost a pretty penny to get done :hmm: Now will they "set" into place over a few days? will i get my extra 1" i paid for? Or should i be ringing them up and complain? Cheers Edited May 8, 200917 yr by Falken_KE30 Report
May 8, 200917 yr comment_343088 I'd be giving them a call and asking what the go is. From what i know the leaves would set that extra 1" in a few years or so, not in a few days. Report
May 8, 200917 yr comment_343179 Did you move the car before tightening it all up?? It should settle after a single run around the block. Also if they rest them, THEN put the extra leaf in it might hold it higher. They should know thier shit though. Report
May 8, 200917 yr Author comment_343197 yeap, i took it for a drive, the double checked all the nuts. I got a Added leaf put in so you would think they would compensate the extra stiffness? Ryan, got slogged $240 for them to pull down, blast them clean add a Leaf, reset and paint Black. Report
May 9, 200917 yr comment_343199 they'll usually pull them down, reset them, then set another (extra) leaf to suit. you do know i probably could have got you brand newies + post for probably not much more than what they slugged ya :P Report

A car with flipped leaves is the best handling car you've ever owned? My KE30 had flipped leaves and it was terrible. Have you been driving magnas for most of your life? Report
May 9, 200917 yr Author comment_343321 Mine handles ok, but i go shit tyres on rear, and it really needs new front shocks. one of mine is leaking :P But yeah its alot better to drive it hard though corners, but bumps suck. Considering selling it soon anyway... Make way for a Bigger car :hmm: Report
