By the way the oil spots on the driveway are NOT from my rolla!

 

Full bare metal respray

very hot 5k

T5 gearbox

LSD diff (ready to go)

New interior

15" or 16" mags

Air con (ready to go)

Power windows if possible

Power steering if stupid enough

Cruise control

and any other stuff I think of along the way. :D

Sweet Ke55 you have there. I have a Few Questions:

 

- Is there a Name to this Ke55??

- How does it go in the way of Rust and Dents??

- What colour are you going to Spray it??

- Are you going to Lower It??

- What Diff are you throwing in??

- What Style of Mags are you puting on??

Will be a bit of work trying to adapt a T5 gearbox to a rolla :)

 

....or you maybe mean a Toyota T50? If so better start looking for a K-T bellhousing now!!! You might find one by 2012!!! :)

The guys at work refer to it as the Yellow Peril which I kind of like so that's what I call it now.

Um, plenty of rust, in fact the bottom of the rear guards are so bad that when I got it I took a grinder to them and discovered by the time I got the rust out I could almost stick my head through the holes!

Did a decent job repairing them for the roadworthy though.

Stay tuned for pics when I get started with the respray!

Other than that not much other rust and no dents.

I will respray the car in a custom yellow color with heaps of gold pearl.

Will lower it a bit but not too much as this will be my daily driver.

The diff I'm not really sure about I think it has KE?? axles and AE?? centre

it was built by a guy who wanted to rally race but never got his car finished.

As for mags not settled yet but want something with 5 or 6 spokes in black with chrome outer ring.

 

 

And yes I did mean a T50 gearbox, I think I may have located a K-T bellhousing!

This is the air-con doner vehicle, purchased from QLD and

trucked to Melbourne just days before I found one down here even cheaper! :D

 

and this is my (wifes) brand spanking new Mazda 6 kid taxi which means that I get her old car

(1998 Nissan Pulsar) and can take the rolla off the road and give her the resto she deserves!

Could always paint around it. Thats whats been done to my hardtop in the past.

easy enough to take off and put back on just cut it off and stick it back on with 3m tape or sikaflex

I don't think he means the bump stripping. I think he means the pin striping.
