The only time I've been able to get that to happen is when I've tried to upload a new avatar and failed (too big etc). It is a bug, just a poor order of operations, replacing the old file before checking the properties.

I did go to change my picture, then changed my mind & selected done to cancel. Might have to find me a new avatar, that should solve it.

It's probably cached, the file itself has been deleted.

Anyone else not being able to click the location tags to get a list of threads tagged with that location?

Yea there's something wrong there Reed, I'll take a look now. If you ever get a 500 error, its definitely server side.

Also I have noticed that a lot of sale threads don't have location tags, I thought you couldnt post without one?

It's possible, but I've made it as difficult as I can while avoiding editing source code. It is possible to make it absolutely mandatory but that means that every time I patch the software I have to make sure the modified code isn't overwritten (which is a pain in the arse).

I just copied the URL from a rollaclub picture to link it to another thread and it told me I wasnt allowed to use that website extension.

Just realised I've been using the FB code to do it with parenthesis instead of colons.

Now it won't allow me to put a link in the reply to a subject.

So a couple of times today I've gone to put the front page of The Girls KE70 into a topic for some new guy, and it says "Forbidden, unexpected error.."

The 2nd time I hit the "Link" button and just lost the reply, which invoked the first rule of the internet- A reply NEVER gets rewritten.

Honestly, I'm not super thrilled with the update either. It seems like a partially functional pile of shit. But I couldn't leave everything sitting on a 4 or 5 year out of date piece of software.

 

I cant replicate it right now though. Does it really prevent you submitting the post? Its just an unfurl... what the hell IPS.

Boss, I love 5year out of date software!  You have so much more control over what it does!

I suppose it means I have to give up my beloved XP, buy a new computer less than 10years old and update my ancient Firefox!

Once I put a link in a reply it can't handle it & it stops the script working so it won't submit.
