Doogs Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Great to hear Matt, it's always good when things go to plan. Quote
JJT036 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I'll have to meet up with you and your old man's rides and we can take some photos one day! If were gonna do that one day, We'll have to TOW my Ke36, and plus, it's still looking like a Bomb. :locked: I'm still waiting to save up the $$$ to Respray mine, and so far there's only $9.00 in my Wallet. :n: The only Corolla we have that would go A to B would be Dad's Ke35. It still yet needs to go through what you have just done recently. He still needs to replace some things then he'll go to a RWC Place to check what he needs. Anyways..... Did you end up getting this Rocket Rego'ed?? Cheers, Josh  Quote
78_7kRolla Posted December 17, 2009 Author Report Posted December 17, 2009 Hey guys more fantastic news! Got rego and insurance today! She's ready to roll (excuse the pun). And yes dF this will be coming on friday but my other rolla is working for now as well. Thanks Doogs this has been suprisingly smooth sailing (mostly). Here are some pics from today. Outside Vicroads in Broady lol And finally at home in the garage where she should be :] Now to enjoy it for a little while :locked: Quote
Ben-89 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Congratulations on getting the car registered Matt, I like satin blacked brake components as its looks very neat. Now what exactly is the meaning behind the new plates? Would like to see this car or both in the flesh as they are very nice examples of a ke30 and 55. Now are you still after a good condition dash pad? Quote

Ben-89 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Good point Doogs, I wasnt aware of that. One for the enthusiasts to know! Quote
78_7kRolla Posted December 17, 2009 Author Report Posted December 17, 2009 Haha spot on doogs. Granny '55 is her name. Oh and Jip it's the old man's garage but it's big enough to fit most of our cars :locked: Just got back now from driving GRN-055 all night and she ran perfectly without even one hiccup. Mighty impressed i must say. Take it easy all. Quote
silverra23 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 (edited) Matt you do a damned impressive job of detailing up a car. Could do with your skills while I am putting my Celica back together. I suspect as much as anything its patience that is required, which makes it all the more impressive. Great job and looking forward to seeing it tomorrow night. ps. www.autocables.com.au is in Greensborogh and do venetians - no listing for a KE35 specifically, but they might have something since they list the "fully imported" model separately. Funking-Awesome Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I so want your garage dude! For sure...I think anyone would want that garage! :locked: Quote
78_7kRolla Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 This car is truly awesome. I saw no less than 4 cop cars on the way home just now and even with a divisional van following me at 5km/h over the limit it decided to overtake me and pull over the magna in front! If i was in either of my other cars (both modified) i would have been pulled over every single time. Awesome.. Here are two happy snaps from late this arvo. Quote
JJT036 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Any Updates Matt?? BTW: The 2nd Pic on the post above is telling me that..., well...., the Arse End needs to be slammed to the Ground. Top Marks on the Progress so far. Well Done ;) Josh :lolcry: Edited January 3, 2010 by ewt Quote
