I've done grass motorkhana's before, and they were quite fun. Although there was a few courses that involved reversing. High speed reverse + huge arse ra28 C pillars led to many markers being run over. That and remembering where the hell you were supposed to be going....

 

How intricate is the typical course at QR? It seems my attention span is rather lacking. :/

The courses run are all taken from the CAMS motorkhana book (which I don't have - yet). They should be the same as most other motorkhanas run in Australia, grass or bitumen.

 

Kinda hard to do the reverse courses in the KE55 too, the back of it is really high and I can *just* about see the tops of each flag... Needless to say I rely on my mirrors a lot.

I'm going to inquire about the cams liesence thing on the holidays - only 35 Days, 8 hours and 57 minutes to go :)

 

When you do these events in your car, is it recomend that you change the wheels & Rims to crappy old stellies ? or just keep the wheels & Rims you have on there at the moment?

Doesn't matter what rims you use, but most people change to "disposable" tyres.
