I think my "comply" Rob means compliying to standards set by the racing body ie CAMS, ANDRA etc etc.

If it's anything like the cage in the pink thing at the all toyota day, I wouldn't go within 50 feet of it.

The cage in the pink thing was a home made cage. And no, it wouldn't even come close to complying with any standards I don't think, even though apparently it has helped a fair bit with stiffening the body. I don't think I'd like to be in a roll in that car either, I'd probably end up worse off than if it didn't have a cage at all...

Roll that one and all the mounts will either rip out or punch through the floor.....

that wasn't a streeter car, it had a streeter kit on it but that's it

 

the blue streeter sprinter got sold the week after ATD for $9k, the only other streeter sprinter is currently on blocks in ken's workshop with a 20v next to it

I believe Josh's car (the pink one) is sponsored by (probably among others) Streeter by Streeter. Hence the big Streeter by Streeter sticker plastered across it.

you'll actually be pretty hard pressed to find a mainstream drift car that ISN'T sponsored by streeter. give enough people cost price bodykits to get your name and product out there, and soon people will be calling you up from interstate and internationally to get your kits, regardless of cost. it's a business strategy that's working for him too
