Maybe i did the maths wrong.

60hp 3K = 44kW

Gen 3 = 215kW

 

Gen 3 has 4.8 times the hp of a 60hp 3K.

however, there is no way in hell a stock 3k REALLY makes 60bhp, probably more like 45. and depending on what car we're talking about, a gen 3 makes 215kw, 225kw, 255kw, or 300kw from the factory, so there's a bit of room for movement in the maths

 

300kw = 402hp. 45hp is 11% of 402hp. close enough to one tenth :unsure:

and toyota say SEVENTY THREE horsepower for a 3k, i say :jamie: to that :unsure:

they maybe only a 10th the power but there's ten times the life in them, if you don't know already search the net for all of the gen3 problems... let just say i have seen a 4k do over 500000km and still have oil pressure, i have heard of at least 3 gen3 that have no oil pressure after 10000km..... umm my maths are worng does that make them 50 times better???
