hi just wondering where can i get a duel carby or fuel injection for a 4k motor decided to stick to a 4k in the hardtop seen as the coupe i picked up on the weekend had a new 4k with 5spd box in it

thats a twin sidedraught weber manifold for a 3-5k.

 

now all you need is 2 sidedraught webers and linkages.

I don't think twin carbs would be the best thing to put on without supporting mods, what do you plan on using the car for?

oh yeah, you'd need the supporting exhaust, cam, headwork mods to run two carbs

it has a yella terra head on it not sure on what modifications have been done internally

i havn't had a chance yet to clean the mud wasp nests and mud of the motor yet but it had a sticker on it saying its fitted with a yella terra head on the head near the back will hope fully get a better chance to clean it up and pull the tappet cover off and see if its stamped into the head on the weekend been so busy lately that i havn't had a chance to have a good look on it if it is it would be the first one i've heard of because i to didn't know yella terra made heads for rollas

Interested to hear more about this head. I would not have thought Yella Terra ever built anything for a K motor!

I'm pretty sure they didn't make a head. They did however make a roller rocker kit for K's.

ok got it cleaned with the gernie today and pulled the tappet cover off and can't find any stamps or anything that indicates its yella terra seems the bloke had found a yella terra sticker and stuck it onto it but its definetly still a good motor no sloppy or worn parts inside it
