ke11restorer Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Thats actually not a bad effort. Apart from the front and the wheels. I think the back looks semi decent Quote
vartain Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I agree, The pointy nose ruins it but I defineatly prefer this too the Eleanor Corolla Quote
Sloth Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I think it's actually pretty cool. In one of the comments someone mentions the Ferrari kit, here are some pics: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/11/fun-thi...ri-360-replica/ I think if I end up rich I might have to get a stupid total conversion for my next car (maybe not the Ferrari, but something in that vein) I think it's realistically the only way I could get a Ferrari (without robbing a bank to get the 300+ they cost). philbey Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) I think it's realistically the only way I could get a Ferrari No. It's the only way you could get a dressed up jap bucket that kind of looks like a ferrari, goes nowhere near as well, is built nowhere near as well and is just a bunch of rough and poxy, ripply fibreglass strapped what once was a good car. and given that it would cost a pile of dough just to get it looking respectable, you'd be better off finding and old 308 in need of restoration! Jooboy Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Thats actually not a bad effort.Apart from the front and the wheels. I think the back looks semi decent agreed rear end looks pretty good I have seen a couple of fast back conversions done on MX5's and they looked pretty damn good. More of a cone shaped back like a viper Quote
