InTrenches Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 who can tell exactly where to install a vacuum gauge along my vacumm line? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Just on any "post butterfly" (after carby) vacuum source. Quote
InTrenches Posted May 26, 2010 Author Report Posted May 26, 2010 so would way down next to the dizzy be fine? or would it be better to tap into it just under the carby? Quote
Felix Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 You want a manifold vacuum source. You could tee into the line to the vacuum booster for your brakes. Quote
Karllos Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 any of the lines really that are between the (throttle body or butterfly) Quote

Taz_Rx Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Most 4k/5k manifolds also have a little bolt to block up a hole in the manifold (runner to # 1 or 2). You could also remove that, put in a little fitting and run it as a dedicated vacuum guage feed. Thats where I use to run my boost guage and BOV for the carby setup from. Follow the BOV line to the manifold. Quote
