Rolla Love

Recommended Posts

I love my AE82 cause it's a great cruiser. It's only an auto but, it's the 4 speed O/D auto. So it's slow, v e r y slow.

But thats OK, since the NT introduced 130km/h speed limits (Booooo!) you don't need much more than a Corolla anyway.

At 130km/h my AE82 sits at 3000rpm, A/C set to freeze, stereo up and cruise.

In the mornings, i guess.

Throw my work crap to the passenger floor

give it a kick in the guts

pokes its nose out the hole

and turtles down the road telling everybody i'm coming

all the while i'm playing some cool rockabilly

till we get to work and its "argh phuck..."

and then in the arvo's

throw my work crap to the passenger floor

give it a kick in the guts

turtle on down to the street

pokes its nose into a break in the traffic

and turtle our way up to the speed limit

all the while i'm playing some cool rockabilly

the moment after hours of working, yelling, cursing, cleaning, grunting and sweating, sometimes bleeding or even a trip to the emergency room, shes all back together and depending on which car, just firing it up or THE FIRST CORNER :D

I love my corolla , I dive it too work work once a fortnight even tho I have a work car (dunnydoor, which make me want to hang myself after i have driven the hour to work),

I love that I work in Claremont which is full of land rovers, porches, mercedes, bmw, you get the picture, but when I park my little KE15 with its big spotlights and no interior except for a roll cage,.

Thats the car people are stopping to look at, and take photos of. *sniff* soo much pride.

When asked will you sell it? My reply is always never. It's part of our family, our heritage.

I love mine simply because it's mine :)

The drive home in it after purchasing was so ridiculously fun, FWD, slower than a wet week and I was beaming ear to ear ;)

Now that it's got a stereo in it, I don't care about the lack of speed/power, I just listen to my tunes and do my own thing :bash:
