Des Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 I can't get the wheel off my girlfriends daewoo cielo and before you say it, i know its a heap of shit but it starts everyday. But anyway its the RHF wheel and ive tried a dead blow hammer, normal rubber mallet, steel hammer and drift, pry bars, pinch bars, driving around the yard with the wheel nuts loose, running into the gutter with the nuts loose, RACQ can't get it off. I'm trying an oxy tomorrow but other than that i think the grinder may need to come out. Any more suggestions ? Quote
Evan G Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 kick the living poo out of it? throw the spare wheel at it? Quote

TE278U Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 i once used a tailshaft like a battering ram against one edge of the tyre to get a mazda rim off a corolla. (mazda rim has a smaller centre hole, and basically cold welded itself on) Quote
Scoobzd Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 It's a l/h thread NOT a r/h thread :D All you've been doing is tightening it ! :) Quote

parrot Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 I'd like to see the photo of the girlfriend who can pickup and throw the wheel! All my 'girlfriend' (wife) can do is pickup the mobile to call me. Quote

cuzzo Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 I was gunna say depending on removal method, just put the nuts on a little bit to stop yourself going flying along with the wheel Quote
