speaking of chrome bumpers for te7? check out this. i'm normally no real fan, but i like muchly.

nice but, wrong bumpers for that model, it's an 83 on, it should have rubber ends on the bumper, the full chrome were early only.

 

and the hatchs never came out with twin headlights either, a real bits-er.

 

but f@$ken nice, love the flares.

you retrofit the early bumpers to the late cars so they don't look shit :rocknroll:

 

there's several brand/model of wheel that looks like that, usually cragar and dragway and weld and stuff like that. i so should buy a set of them, wonder how much they are... :P

 

and yes, neat and clean and not overdone is the name of the game. something that says "i like this car, the factory did a pretty good job, but i think i can do tastefully better"

i can understand people wanting to get rid of the ke70 "bumper car" bumpers, but they look stupid going without completely. i'd be trying to graft on ae92 ones or something.

yes, the bumpers aren't incredibly cool, but without them i think the ke70 looks stupid, its designed to have the big useful rubber bumpers

 

 

That ke70 painted matt black with AE86 bumpers that was posted up here springs to mind, it was very well pulled off

te72 chrome all the way f@$kers :P

yeah the 82 on lift backs and hatchs in japan(and the rest of the world) had like 3 different bumpers,chrome centre black ends,black centre black ends, and the big poly ones like Aus got, then there were KE70 sprinters had like 2 different bars and the coupe had a different one again.

 

all barred up :P

whilest i appreciate the effort put into the orange TE72, bleugh.. if he wanted to ruin it, should've shipped it to me free of charge so i could do it properly... *E7* hardtop... i also love the *E7* fastbacks.. i like the rear side window seutup over the T-18 style we got :P

 

and i actually like the *E10 bumper with the over-riders *nods*

what's different about the 1x bumpers? they're just like daisys, also the front markers....came on '70 models ONLY from 9/69-4/70...daisy's got them too. also the front indicators ar huge on the '70 models

as far as i know the te72 bumpers ar all far larger than yours, incl. the crome ones.

and wtf is wrong with 20 shape? they're phat, just a little ugly in the rear end, but better than most of the other models if you ask me

the 20's are ok. just a bit harder to get the look right. that said there are some very nice ones out there. the pics you posted Jamie are real nice....i'd race 'em.
