Hey all, so i have just purchased a ke36 windowless panel van, i brought it off 'sleepercorty', who brought it off 'jip', so shes abit of a rollaclub slut.

 

When i went to see her for the first time, i pretty much fell in love, even though she looks pretty ratty.

Was thinking about a name on the way back and couldnt come up with anything. So i put my ipod on shuffle and the first song that came on was "Strange kind of woman" by deep purple.

 

Nice song about some bloke spending every cent he had on a girl he love, but was a prostitute. Her name was Nancy.

thought it kinda fittied because this pano is also a rolla club slut haha and i plan on spending all my money on her.

 

Anoher trip to toowoomba seeled the deal. Drove it home down the warrego with its 4 speed screaming the whole way, good fun :lolcry:

 

Got it home and played a game of spot the rust with my dad :lolcry: lol another great memory.

 

All in all quite happy with the buy, thanks sleepercorty.

 

Ideas:

I have been joking with my dad about getting a mattress cut to fit in the back, and other stupid shit like a larger mirrow fittied to the inside roof, above the bed. haha would be cool, probally not practical. Who knows might give them a shot.

 

Was also think about some black and red widend stockies. if i decide to keep the rat rod look.

 

The possibilities are endless :lolcry:

Nice ride. For something truly unique, get a custom made mattress for the roof and a mirror for the floor. That way you can sleep on the mirror and it will give the appearance you're on a mattress.

Cool car! wheels look good too.. That photo is giving me a sore neck though. I was wondering can you see anything out that passenger side peep mirror from the drivers seat? Thinking about getting some but not sure how practical they would be.

Hey so i have for now decided to go for the rat rod look. so I'm chasing some stock wheels that can be widened or are already widened. maybe from a vw? if anyone knows places in brissy that will widen stock steel rims give me a yell.

 

just going to paint the centers black, the lip red and maybe a little whitewall.

i got one for my celica off ebay, its heavy duty as not flimsy at all just a bit heavy but nothings made dodgy, if its mounted right ya wont have a problem

Ok guys just brought a pretty high tech performance part for the panelvan.

 

should add an instant 25 hp to this beast.

got a little sick of looking at a dirty greasy engine bay so went down to supercheap and picked up heat resistant paint and undercoat.

 

definatly wasnt supercheap.

 

pulled off the rocket cover and gave her a wash.

 

its all nice and shiny now, keep alret for the pic updates when its RED!

rocker looks overrated nice work

 

if ya worried bout the red stickin out, should throw a bit of white in the bay too keep the theme through the whole car just simple stuff, like white spark plug leads, or if ya later on put extractors on, you can get white heat paint/coating
