Doogs Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 DOOGS i have done alot of paint work with the good old export paint, it's all in the prep work underneith the paint, thats why if i took my time i could almost have a can job look the same as a gun job :jamie: ;) You missed my point mate, clearly we are going to have different opinions on the topic. Posted December 16, 2010 Report Share Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) so i got $50bux to waste right now and I'm considering painting my car silver for shits and giggles. its currently a home matte black job so I figure it can't look any worse, haha and supercheap auto is having an export paint sale, 4 cans for $10 thats 20 cans of export paint which I'm sure i can get looking decent-ish haha thoughts? beerhead Posted December 16, 2010 Report Share Posted December 16, 2010 Save up another $50 and you can come out and use my spray gun and compressor mate, 2L undercoat and 2L of topcoat will cost you $100 at the right place, then its just thinners and wet and dry after that.
