First hold up , them bolts need Hercules to undo! :bash: Help?

EASY MAN! Eat your weet-bix! Just try and stop the flywheel from moving when using a Ratchet. Hope that helps, I remember loosing knuckle skin doing it lol.

How did everyone put there engine on there stands and what bolts?

I don't have any gearbox bolts lying around :bash:

Those bolts are pretty easy. Get someone with a spanner on one to stop it spinning then chuck a socket on another slip a short bit .of pipe on the socket handle for extra leverage. Or a rattle gun.

So Can someone please tell me the gearbox bolt size so I can go buy some tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm this ? And did everyone Mount there engines on them bolts?

i remember when i had to buy 2 bolts for my engine stand to mount it to my 5k. i think they were around 12/15cm long?

Yea I was thinking they have to be pretty long , You think my locale bunnings should have them?

Bunnings has everything! Man I got mine bolted to a stand piss easy! Must of had the right bolts.

Want me to ask Ella what size we used?

 

Worst thing is its hard to take an engine in to test fit bolts at Bunnings

Yea take my block and sump thats full of oil to bunnings!!! :laff: P.s was sent from melbourne to perth without its oil dropped and it decided to break its pallet it was sitting on , on the way back home from the depot..........fun :bash:

Don't go to Bunnings! Got to Repco, Bursons and possibly Autobarn.

Bunnings don't have many "car thread" nuts and bolts...

Mhmills you must see my Bunnings,Its got 1 isle of just bolts! If they don't have them I'll go to my local Repco

 

If anyone is wondering what size a gearbox bolt is its a m10 x 1.5
