beerhead
Holy crap ... 10K spent on a 4K!. Someone must have very angry misses.
TRD ke70
he has got his hand on it. quote: Estimated 150+ hp and as for 10 grand spent on it, everything would have to be gold plated. TRD bits aren't that expensive, there are a lot better cams out there than the old TRD grinds, the sump doesn't look like it's been modified for upriting. he claims TRD forged pistons 78mm, TRD never made forged pistons for 4k engines, they were just a good casting. it's worth about $3000, i'd say someone ripped him off with the machining and port work. Mr Revhead[RL]
hence why we are laughing at him  the thing with TRD k series bits.... is they are no longer made

boofis
Pft, 5k....as if. 4k all the way, ruin it....go to the wreckers and pay $40 for a new one lol! How can you beat that, and like you guys are saying, like you'd bother spending $6000 on that. 4Ks are only good when you're on a budget I say. Thanks Troy
Super Jamie
it's worth about $3000, i'd say someone ripped him off with the machining and port work. i'd say it should have COST 3 grand, and is worth about $650
TRD ke70
i was being nice, but you're right it's worth f@$k all. looking carefully at the photo, they have lifted the roof of the inlet port and then cut and welded the inlet manifold to the base plate, so the head has been flowed but you'd be hard pushed to see 150hp out of it. you could buy a standard 7k for less an $1200 and get more torque. Toycrash
4K only if it's under some class distriction or something... We made few racing engines to our starlets from 4K. 149hp from wheel at this baby:

Toycrash
Carbies are Delloto 36mm aftermarket bike ones with accelerator pump. Ignition is Compufire wasted spark for WV Beatle. Just cut pasted 4K dizzy and Bosch 009
