abbott Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 if thats 9's you are going to have some stupid dish by the time you pump the guards! can't wait to see how wide you go. cheers tom
mungi mods Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Posted March 16, 2011 i do have a pair of 9.5 -6 and a pair of 10 -12 sitting here............
abbott Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 you should definitely test fit them and post up some pictures when you get a chance? how long u reckon till the jz goes in? keen to see it finished will be cool
mungi mods Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Posted March 16, 2011 (edited) once all the rust and repairs are done and the car is regoed, 1jz will start i am seriously considering changing to 17's on this because i want more tuck + ground clearance. the pic is with rear spring removed and the strengthening under the sills scrapes on driveway entrances atm.. I have a pair of 17 x 10 +10 vsxx works here i am just about finished widening but i think they may be too small to fill the guards satisfactorly. might see if i can borrow a mates 17 x 9.5 -19 rota rb's for a test fit ... Undertaker_is_the_best Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 carboard is how low the strengthening beams under the car sit i am currently looking into side skirts .. cardboard was just to visualize with skirt yea thats pretty good idea mate would love to see you test fit a proper set of skirts i reckon would suit the car well
abbott Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 looking good man ye sounds like you wont be able to go too low without lots of issues so yeah skirts might be your best option! keen to see those wheels your widening finished could look cool! i wanna see the guards flared on this though reckon would look good.

B.L.Z.BUB Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Yeah the wheel should start at the diff centre and the dish should go 3 feet to the guards :laff:
