Nah, that's me Philbey- I've just fired it and there's a blast haze about where the scope is. My elbow was on the table and I'm sure my hair was tidier, but it pushes you back with unstoppable force! It works over bystanders as well, not so much the noise but the blast from it.

 

They're not illegal in NZ, where I was shooting it, and its quite a show stopper at the gun shows. The arms laws over there are much better than here in Aussie. They vet the person getting the licence much more, but once they've decided you can have a licence they are not as worried about what gun or how many you own. It shows in the lower gun homicide rate NZ has. Aussie gun laws would stop my mate from immigrating over here, which is what his wife would like, so Aussie misses out on a fine engineer.

We should really change this to a nerf thread yoda :) I'm actually thinking of custom making one with an interchangeable barrel and compressed air so i can shoot darts and paintballs. Bit crazy but i want to try something different

I have a custom designed, just need to get off my arse and actually build the damned thing, but mine will only fire factory Nerf darts.

I don't even have a design yet, just ideas
