Theys plenty of ways of doing it , from cheap and nasty - thicker head gasket or expensive - machine shop should be able to open up some space in the head but not much ....the best and and 1 of the cheapest ways is a 4k head.

 

Whats a firing order of a 5k? 1,3,2,4? the mani will be easier than a single turbo :happy: you just got to be clever with the space you got for the SU and the J pipes.

 

edit : just seen your wanted ad , you in NZ man most of the efi's that are here come from over there! phone your wreckers and look series 60 starlet 1983-1984 came with efi...

I might pull head of my spare 4k and see how it goes when she's running. Let me know if you want to sell that efi. I'd be keen to put it on my 4k with a supercharger!!

Yeah would be good to keep the engine temps down if you could find a way to cool intake

Got the at local performance shop for $995 reduced from $1299

to lower compression why not run a shim? we got some a few years back think it was around 300 for a .5mm and a 1.3mm

Just run adequate timing and you don't need to worry about de-comping it. :yes:

Nah it can be done both SU and DCOE style but will take a bit longer to get right. "the nobbler" had a draw through DCOE/sc14 setup worked ok.

Finished my big single turbo manifold with 32 mm wastegate flange. Think ill finish single turbo set up then may look at twin turbing my 4k. What are the benifits of locking your dizzy?
