Jordanrolla Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Just fixing up the sisters ke70, the carby on it was fooked so i am putting a 32/36 weber on it and want to get it properly tuned for economy/bit moar power. Would love to find someone/somewhere who doesnt mind doing cashies as i never like paying full price (call me a tight ass but meh) any help appreciated Quote
Ella Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Anyone worth the the money is going to charge you full price. Quote
ke70dave Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 A good shop, is going to employ good employees. Good employees don't like dodging the tax system. Thus they wont do "cashies"..... http://www.brisbanetuning.com.au/dyno_tuning.html this place sounds alright. id imagine a single webber on a k motor would be quite easy to tune for a pro, but you will be paying for dyno time and the pro's time. and pro's charge accordingly....probably around $120/hr.... 1 Quote
BUZ440 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Jordan, i would have thought a man of your talent would have many contacts since parting with your last rolla, Quote
Jordanrolla Posted October 17, 2011 Author Report Posted October 17, 2011 The tax man has enough money i thinks, I know how the system works and I'm not going to get into it as this is not the topic. I'm a simple cash man and i love it when people speak my language. Not really looking to get it dyno'd as its a 4k and I'm not expecting anything much out of it, just a simple tune so its not guess work. Nisrola, unfortunately don't know anyone in the carby business Quote
Jordanrolla Posted October 17, 2011 Author Report Posted October 17, 2011 http://www.brisbanetuning.com.au/dyno_tuning.html I would not spend a cent at this shop, if this were the last shop in brisbane for tuning, i would rather take a course and open up my own shop. Refering to past dealings with this shop in particular Quote
love ke70 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 isnt 32/36 and economy an oxymoron? Quote
springersrolla Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 highly recommend this bloke Auto-Carbs Automotive 103 Norman Street, East Brisbane QLD 4169 (07) 3391 2433 more than enough time to help you, will usually run a probe up the exhaust, adjust tappets, tune and jet for around 150. Piece of mind to drive in drive out and its got no more dramas hope it helps ya Quote
