B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 10, 2013 Author Report Posted November 10, 2013 Nah they fit perfect length wise. Just need to mod the rear so the door can open. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 Drove all over the coast looikng for supercharger oil, Holden wanted $55 for 120ml, Toyota wanted about $60. I did some research and a lot of people were saying to use compressor oil. So I stopped at my local Bursons to grab some and mentioned I was looking for SC oil and they had it in stock. 230ml for $20. Nice. Got stuck in to ripping the old SC12 out. Comparison of the old and new pulleys. Old vs new Different clutches, I'm guessing the new one is from a newer model. Need to go pick up a larger 5 rib for the SC and pick up the SC oil, then bolt the TB back on (left off as its easier to get to the SC oil filler). Then It should be test drive time. Hopefully it'll be done by this avo. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) How did it go?? Edited November 13, 2013 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 LMFAO, I like the gif....... what psi did the SC make with the new pulley?? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) No idea. don't have a boost gauge yet. But the Nevo pulley is meant to push 13-14pse plus I also did the ABV to SC outlet pipe mod so I'd say I'm making too much. Fun though. Edited November 13, 2013 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 O well I guess you can tell but the pull of the car compaired to what it was. I hope you can find out what the noise is, how hard is it to remove the starter motor??, because if you can reach it easier than pulling the box and move flywheel that way to see if the bolts are loose. Just a thought. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 Yeah thats a good idea :y: starter would have to come out anyway. Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 No probs I hope its not a major issue Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Posted November 16, 2013 T18 is in a safe place, possibly the rustiest car I have ever seen. Might see how the T diff and T box work before I decide to upgrade. Biggest mission to get it, don't ask. And some old pics from an old DS meet I finally got. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 17, 2013 Author Report Posted November 17, 2013 Well that was fun while it lasted. WTB Head gasket. Quote
kickn5k Posted November 17, 2013 Report Posted November 17, 2013 Well that was fun while it lasted. WTB Head gasket. Nnnnoooo!! Personally I'd look at a cometic MLS one, genuine toyota ones are always good too. Both are dearer than a cheap parts place special but way better quality. Quote
