Seeing as i just got new Rims what suspension do you guys suggest.

I have heard mixeds rumours about monroe and king springs

Do pedders make stuff for ke70's and if so how much are we talking.

Pricing on this does not matter if you are going to do something you might as well do it properly.

So any advice would be grealty appreciated. :hammer:

I've got monroe GT's all round in my KE55, and lowered king springs in the front, very firm ride, apart from the dodgy leafy springs. Cost me $230 for the Front and rear shocks, 100 for the front springs, $90 for new bushes, handled sweet.

The car is going to look f@#cking mad with mags and new suspension. Probally get done with in about 2 weeks just a case of getting parts and time.

i find kings to be a bit soft. often lovell or fulcrum are stiffer. you'd really need to get the rates from the manufacturer and compare

i have always been a fan of custom springs. if you're paying retail, go that little bit further and get exactly what you want

i have heard theories that ideally, you want the front control arms to sit level when the car is at rest. that's how low your car "should" be for best handling

i think for a corolla, you want 170lb-195lb in the front, and stock to 150lb in the back

hey just wondering, when i replaced the stock springs in my ke70 with new ones, the new ones were shorter but held the same ride height, does this mean they have a stiffer spring rate?

that's what it would indicate, yes

google "spring stiffness" and you'll find a formula that lets you work out the stiffness of any given spring, based on its coil diameter, coil thickness and number of coils
