hey guys was a bit bored and though of some body mods to work on to stiffen up the body and havent seen many off the shelf parts other than a cage, so thought of looking at :-

* bar between the rear seatbelt mounts

* front strut brace

* rear strut brace

* cage soon

* door bars front/rear

* monkey bar over tranny tunnel in the rear

not going to do all of these but some of them, just lookin for off the shelf options

Depends where you think the body flexes. Have you ever seen a KE70 crack? Triumph 2000s used to crack around the "C" pillar, the Mazda RX2s used to crack in front of the A pillar, but they were being rallied and that is really hard on a body shell.

The struts across the suspension towers would be good, the front moreso than the rear, but underneath the car is better setup than the modern FWDs that have suspension arms hanging out in mid-air.

Door bars and extra bars from the shell to the front would be nice in an accident, these cars are terribly weak compared to new ones.

Mitch will have some good ideas, he works on V8Supercars. Let us know what you find out.

Why'd you want to have a swing set in the car for ?? Planning on having an army of Indian monkeys swinging from the bars or something ?!?

Depends on the vehicle in question

front strut brace

and a mod-plated six point cage

most of the other stuff would be a baboons play toy. But it depends on the vehicle.

Give this a good read:

If you do end up purchasing anything take into account what they mention about the construction of the brace (pivots, bends ect.)

PS. It's generally about 86's but the same principles can be transferred to kexx
