Ill take better 1's 2 morrow, but nothing can describe the whiteness of my car, and its cool-e-ness :D :argh: (Y) :D :D :D :D :P  8D :P p.s - yes, there are a few small bits to go back on the car *back black bages*, and some which i will be takeing off *front mudflaps* - and getting a matching clear left around head light ! SWEET !!! :fuzz:  Quote
demuire Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Why do you want to remove the front mudflaps? Will only end up ruining your paint along the sills. Looks good though. Quote
Teddy Posted March 29, 2004 Author Report Posted March 29, 2004 Fook : i need to chuck them out and get new 1's - they are crystalized & festie ! :P Quote
Nitephyre Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 damn that looks simple, and sweet as... nice wheels too... good job, how much did it set you (read ol' man) back? did you get any rust repair? Quote
Teddy Posted March 29, 2004 Author Report Posted March 29, 2004 ok, becasue i was paience and i stayed with him for along time, it was gona cost just unda 2,000, but he did it for 1250 for me - i had to prodive a new bonet - and he did the rest (old was just too warped & F*ed up). its got 2 or 3 clear coats on it, its a REALLY ARTIC WHITE colour, He said he was only gona fix some of the bumps along the side of the car, but hes a perfectist, and he just did all of the bumps for no extra charge (lots of time there :D !) Rust repair - the car had very little rust, but like all corollas, it had some rust. Hes fixed basically all the rust in it - just finishing that off 2 morrow. The car also had a big ding in it (back right quaterpanel, old owner reverserd into a rock :D) - but its all fixed, aswell I'm happy - and he thinks its mad ass lol - it was a good deal! :D Also, because the wheels are so FAT (liturally) he had to modify the front guards so it would turn without scraping, and it now wont bottom out (fixed back as well) - all at no extra cost ! :P Quote
mumblezzz Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Damn, i was going to buy those wheels too. Quote
Teddy Posted March 29, 2004 Author Report Posted March 29, 2004 For $330, they were a real steal lol - and by the looks of it they have either been re-sprayed latelly, or have been Really well looked after! Quote
Teddy Posted March 30, 2004 Author Report Posted March 30, 2004 Update! i phoned up the paint shop and its not ready yet - but wait for the reason  !! beause they are moving shops, they do split work - 1 bunch for the early morning and day, and the other bumch for day to night. The manager - told the aprensis to fix the rust in my boot - but the apprentis must not of understood what he ment - all that was planed to be done was for a plate or somting to be welded in - just to stop the water, kil the rust - etc. But insted - this apprentis had spent the best bit of 3 1/2 hours + on it doing a perfectionist job - when all he had to do was just put 2 plates in place ! So, the manager walks in at 3:00 today, and wanders ova to my car and sees the tail lights out, the bumper off etc and goes... "um.... what are you doing?" - "um.. fixing the rust" lol - yeah, they sure fixed the rust alright :D :D - so basically it has to be finished now the proper way - respray the boot area, put it back then give it back 2 morrow - and i didnt have to pay any extra for a full blown pro boot job (gota love some mistakes - then again the guy who made the mistake (good) was use to doing the full bit job, nothing cheap ass and tacky ! :P ) So much for a 10 minuet welding job HAHAHAHHAH ! Medicine_Man Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Oh well, best to get it done properly now than to have rust break out later.. Quote
