hey, they are getting harder to find, most have surcome to rust in the front doors and around the boot.

there are still quite a few over here, just finding a decent one is the hard part. this is the second 3 door wagon iv owned, but the previous one was in a slightly better cond.

next on the list for it is a whole new rear end - diff, axles, housing etc, as apparently when driving it home last night, both wheels were wobbling, which seems to tell me that my wheel bearings are about to go. and it $60 each, its cheaper to replace the whole thing at once lol.

haha, nice from far, far from nice.

it drives nice, doesnt use any petrol compared to my old Mark2 wagon which would use $10 petrol driving 30ish kms.. :o

well..struck the first and quite a large problem on the road to getting it road legal..

the front seat belts which were suppiled as new ones, are incorrect 'doh' :o

so now i have no passenger seat belt, so i wont be out cruising this weekend :D

now on the hunt for 2 front seat belts..

well, fixed the rear end..turns out the diff and wheel bearings are fine.

it had LOOSE wheel nuts :o , almost lost both back wheels last night coming home, luckily i had the stereo turned off, so i heard what i thought was a stone rattling around, turned out to be 2 wheel nuts on the right rear coming off, and 3 on the left rear coming off.

make sure when buying a new car, you don't take the previous owners word that the wheel nuts are done up tight. :D
