Danman85 Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 hi guys I bought a ke10 and the interior was re done on it and it hasn't got seat belts in the rear. Did they come out with them from the factory, or the bloke that re did the interior didnt put them back in. The car is registered but I'm not sure if it was done after rego was done. 67Rolla-Ken Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 My 67 has rear belts but the mounting definitely doesn't look factory. My understanding is that once mounting holes have been made you have to have the belts (not sure just what I've heard). Check if there are holes in the floor, it's very easy to remove the rear seat. From memory they were an option, but at that time seatbelts were an infringement of civil liberties which few people took up, especially for the kids in the back. My KE15 (fully imported) doesn't have them.
