azzy_10 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 I got a r31 diff going into my car but want to see some pics on how people have set theirs up with leaf springs Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Leaf springs or not, can you keep the bottom arms on the R31 and weld mounts on the chassis?? At least that helps to stop it walking around under the car. The panhard would be real nice to keep too.... 1 Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 "walking around under the car", really? ffs think before you type. 1 Quote
coln72 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 If he is running enough power to justify a diff swap, it wouldn't hurt to stop the diff winding up under acceleration (the lower control arms) and to stop the diff moving sideways under the car during cornering (panhard rod) 1 Quote
azzy_10 Posted September 23, 2014 Author Report Posted September 23, 2014 Pictures please yes I got plenty of power to come through the drive line yes I'm keeping the lowers for traction and mount the the pano rod But really want to see Quote
Scoobs485 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Does the r31 diff bolt straight in? Width wise? Quote
ke35 dan Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 No it is 110mm longer then standard ke35 I removed 50mm from the long Axel side and 60mm from the short Axel side, that moves the centre of the diff closer to the centre of the car. Hope this helps Quote
