B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 6, 2015 Author Report Posted November 6, 2015 Finally found some nuts. Genuine Volk ones. Pick them up tomorrow. Car is on stands till then. Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 wheels look good mate! why r34 cooler, do they bolt straight up? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 7, 2015 Author Report Posted November 7, 2015 Yeah they bolt right in and are approx 50% larger by volume. 80mm core vs 60mm core. Just a matter of finding one for sale people don't want drug money for. It's a $20 part. Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 look for a C34 Stagea cooler, they are the same as the R34 items Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 7, 2015 Author Report Posted November 7, 2015 I actuality had one lined up but it had a 60mm core. Dunno what was going on there. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 8, 2015 Author Report Posted November 8, 2015 Got the nuts. Two tyres seem to be losing air but all 4 are pretty old and hard so I'll get some new rubber tomorrow. Really need to lose the wing and the front bar. Quote
BUZ440 Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Going by the pics, those white wheels suit it better, could have had them colored or hydro dipped, Delete rear wing Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 8, 2015 Author Report Posted November 8, 2015 Wasn't a fan of the rotas Never have been a fan of that type of wheel. If the wing wasn't glued to the boot it'd be long gone. Trying to find another boot lid in white. Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 I actuality had one lined up but it had a 60mm core. Dunno what was going on there. It depends if it a Series 1 C34, they have the head lights and driving lights in the one light assembly made from 1996- late 1998 the Series 2 C34 has the head light separate from the driving lights/ high beam and they are located in the grill. I have a Series 2 C34 Stagea dayz edition. It has from the factory a 80mm side mount intercooler. Quote

LittleRedSpirit Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 Forgive my ignorance but don't turbo cars go better with less piping volume and therefore would the 60mm core not be superior in its effect? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2015 Author Report Posted November 13, 2015 It doesn't get as hot. It's a proven cheap upgrade on a stock motor without adding the extra piping for a front mount. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted November 13, 2015 Author Report Posted November 13, 2015 I make it sound massive compared to stock It can flow more and cool better but it's not physically much bigger. And all the sock piping will remain. Quote
Aussie_KE70 Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Reed, also have a look around for an ARC side mount for an R32 / R33 they are meant to be 100mm thick I believe. Every now and then they pop up and people are always giving them away cause the price of a china front mount makes them nearly worthless Quote
