Ke30 4Age Conversion

Hey guys doing a 4a conversion into my k30 2dr and want to know what's the best radiator for this?

I can only offer my own partially relevant experience. For my 2TG conversion I am using a standard radiator (in very excellent condition) and getting a new top hose connection fitted on the other side. I'm not keen on using an ebay alloy china job.

I used a good condition standard ke70 radiator with my 4age, no issues.

 

Any radiator in good condition will be fine. But the key words are good condition.

Ok thanks guys, I'm keen on those eBay radiators either and some of the rad places have quoted over $700

I'm using a ae71 in ke55 it is a lot wider than the early ke s but easy fit.

 

Depends on what your using for water out lets ae86 or fwd type some fit better than others.

I've got a stock KE70 one in the Girl's KE70, but it hasn't run the 4AGE yet.

 

If that won't do it I might try the much wider Lancer one I picked up at the wrecker, a modern twin-fan thin but very wide alloy one.

 

The option is the Ebay alloy ones, which Steve has in Mao and it works just fine.

I took a gamble and bought a $130 alloy AE71 radiator for my ke30/4AGE conversion on ebay. In the car a year now and its fine. Made up 2 adapter plates so I didnt have to drill holes in the KE30.

I've done a bit of research today and now I'm leaning towards ae alloy rad from eBay few people seem to be using them without problems.
