Fayt Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 i usually don't like black cars but if done right a black ke10 would look mean as! Quote
Teddy Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Bahahahahha Crazy ideas are the only ones that stick :) Personally, Id do the Ke11 Dark Blood Candy Apple Red, with Black and red velour / interiour to suit :P Quote
Fayt Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 I think silver pearl with black air brush graphics on the hood and down the side would look awesome!! and maybe the slightest bit of blood red in certain places and then you would have to convert the bonnet so as it flips foward not back, so you can show off the artwork :P Quote
Tiger Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Uhm... I'm thinking that should be in his paint thread... not interior :P true? hahaha Quote
Fayt Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 yeah the topic kinda changed itself, counc started it :P counc said "another idea not long came to mind too, making it a red back spider theme (small but deadly) black paint job red mark on roof like a redbacks abdomen, black interior with red features, could even go as far as a redback air brushed on the bonnet" Quote
pozman Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 that would look even better with a red pearl thu the black Quote
Dan Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I thought you meant pimp-suit purple, lol. I reckon that the purple on the BA falcons (not sure of the colour name) would look mean as, with the black velour interior... and perhaps some splash effects of chequers.. Would look mean IMO... Dan. Quote
Rolln16 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Oh Dear... :P Firstly, give me the colour you want.... exactly... Please... and decide on a theme. If you don't have one don't worry but if you do then spill... even if its caterpillars - it will give me something to work with. And are you looking for lots of colour or a more timid interior so that it doesnt draw from the exterior? Secondly - as Teddy said, Guys think outside the square don't just stick with your safe colours i.e. white, black, chrome or match colours i.e pink and purple . If you can't match something with another colour then don't - go in the complete opposite direction but in this case keep it simple. When you decide to use two completely different colours you CAN NOT overdo it... believe me you will end up with an eyesore rather than an eyecatcher. Designs will follow once this post it replied to... ;) Quote
counc Posted May 5, 2006 Author Report Posted May 5, 2006 hey rollin16 ok here we go theme: redback spider black paint possible red pearl interior wise I'm not after a huge eye catcher just something nice and neat and easy on the eye thinking mostly black with red features plus chomed parts eg window winders ect... going to have a pic of a redback airbrushed on the bonnet looking forward to hearing your ideas cheers counc Quote

Rolln16 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Okay well I'm going to be bad and go a bit rat style and add white into the equation – it will make the car feel cooler if you have some white, because red and black are very, very warm colours. Alright let me think. To keep it simple I am thinking black for all of your vinyl/plastic bits and pieces in the car. Then for the door trims in the front I'm going to say red, with a delicate spider either in a darker red as a line drawing, or in white with a dark outline embossed onto the fabric. The best way to describe it would be like the old school pin-striping that they did with all the fancy bits. Actually scrap that. We are going to have a leather patch in black like you would put in a pair of pants and we are going to patch this to the red door trim with big white cartoon style stiches. Then in the middle of this patch is going to be a pin – striped spider done in bright racy red and reoutlined in a dark crimson red. This will also have a metallic white thread of web coming from the spiders abdomen and jig-jagged onto the trim. The back door trims are going to be the same as the front (red with black arm rest etc) only instead of having a patch with a spider in it we are going to use a metallic white thread and stitch random cobwebs onto the fabric… the spider has been and gone… The floor of the car – carpeting etc will be in that two tone kinda grandma spec carpet and will be black and red. There will be black floor mats and on the mats there will be a white redback spider in the upper right hand side for the passenger and the bottom right hand side for the driver. Just a small simple one with no features just like a shadow... The seats – okay I would have these done plain and simple in a black vinyl perhaps with a white pin stripe like you get on a seam say on board shorts for want of a better description. Then we will make seat covers for them. The covers will also be black but will have a double pinstripe in red and white and a spider shadow in dark charcoal grey with black metallic thread stitched onto it to make it look hairy and scary. The roof lining – so many people go and do these fancy swanky hood linings and for what reason??? Its not like you're going to look at it all that often. So we are going to have a plain white lining with a black and red spider web scrawled graffiti style in one corner using the shadow look. It wont bu using thick lines its all about thin straight lines and clean points. Whaddaya think? :) Quote
