ronalife Posted December 11, 2018 Report Posted December 11, 2018 1987 2s-c into 1978 rt104 *toyota corona* Anybody heard of such a conversion? Pretty confident ay but id like some input in regards to the liklihood, appears to have different diff & tailshaft but eyeballing looks like box cross mounts & engine mounts would bang straight in. Anyone ever been so desperate before aswell lol Quote
Jono.C Posted December 11, 2018 Report Posted December 11, 2018 Honestly they're one of the worst engines ever made. It wouldn't be the worth the time or money at all.. Even 22r would be considerably better over the 2sc 1 Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted December 11, 2018 Report Posted December 11, 2018 rt142 2sc is a poor engine with a poor borg warner transmission behind it. Look for any kind of 3sfe 4sfe or 5sfe before that. You can get rwd ones from jdm chaser/mk 2 platform or from spacia vans. Bout 90kw and efi. You could even revert to carb quite easy with a 3sfc manifold. Quote

RT142 is the 22RE Yeah I know that but somehow I didnt get the right model out when I typed it. Sa63 is different package again to the st141 as its got a proper W box.
