Rollaclub will be down for maintenance tonight from 6pm 10/9/10 AEST. Outage time will be around 3-6 hours. During this time the whole or parts of Rollaclub may be unavailable.

9pm update: Progressing along OK. A bit over halfway through updating more than 120,000 PM's for the new system (shame on you who don't housekeep your PM inbox). Further work after that. Don't expect RC to be back before midnight.

 

1am update: Site back online. Still plenty of changes needed.

I didn't turn on the television. Luckily the other interwebs were still functioning to keep me amused.

Gallons and gallons of tweaking to do, a truly colossal update. Still many features missing or not working. All in good time.

For the most part. It'll end up being reskinned in the (near?) future.

 

Couldn't go on running the old software, was slowly but surely falling out of compatibility and hasn't been supported by the software company for a few months now.

So I take it this upgrade was made to suit mobile phones/ ipads. Cause my iPhone is my main source of Internet and this new layout seems alot more user friendly ;).

Ah yes! I haven't had a chance to look at the mobile layout yet but yes it does come with mobile skins. I'll get around to customising them a bit sometime soon.

 

I understand theres an app for invision forums too that allows for push notifications :jamie:

Ben I have just noticed that posts with quotes have had the "quote" removed, no drama for me but just wanted to let you know.

Too right irokin. Just downloaded the app then. It pretty much makes it able to store all your forums in the one place, other than crowding your menu screens. Quite handy :jamie:.

 

The only thing I'm not certain about is if pm's will show up on the home screen, as the top menu links are not there. In it's place is a little square box that once pressed, opens up links, e.g messenger and status updates. It's no biggie if they don't show up, it just means that people such as myself who use iPhone will have to go into this category more often.

 

Ya know it's funny, one of my other favourite forums (4wdAction) just had a massive upgrade and now this one too. Gonna take some getting used to ;).

I ended up watching the A-Team movie.

I like how you've changed the "fast reply" at the bottom.

Was a little iffy about the colours but i think i've gotten over it
