  1. Oi, what's going on? Its been to long between updates !
  2. Whats going on, we need updates !
  3. I understand your power increase. But I did it the other way around I went from a worked 4AGZE manual to a 3K auto, which I had to keep the foot flat on the floor because everything on the road felt like a Ferrari. All the best with your future plans.
  4. It’s good to see another quality build coming together, I can see that you have put a lot of forethought and planning into this conversion and I can see this car being on the road one day soon. There are far too many slap together unfinished projects that never get finished due to poor planning, no money / lose of interest or its out of there mechanical / electrical ability. Keep up the excellent work and keep the progress reports / pictures coming. :y:
  5. Looking good, Are you still legally allowed to have passengers on/in the back seat (on the road/street) with that bar running across in front of them?
  6. Now I can understand the wiring diagram from what you have just described, Thank you.
  7. Hi All, I'm doing the wiring for the custom dash layout and I'm not too sure how to; Wire up the Alternator charge Lamp from the ( L ) – Lamp Terminal from the Alternator. The alternator is 20V Black Top 4AGE (AE111) My question I ask is; does the ( L ) – Lamp Terminal from the Alternator produce a positive current and I earth the other side of the Alternator light to ground. thanks
  8. So what happen or it didn’t?
  9. I saw that title and I was thinking :wtf: you n Teddy made a home made movie :KY: involving Car Electrical bits :lmao: (nothing to do with the fact that you are living up in them hills playin the bango's)...... (Just Jokin)
  10. Where and what time are you meeting, before the drive up the hill? Let me know and i might tag along with you all and meet a few other members. (I'll gat back to you, i think that you have my number)
  11. I was thinking of a 4 point cage at a minimum, or a 6 point. I wouldn’t even waste my time with a 2 point cage.
  12. I know that they would not just build a one off for me and as for the build, just about every modified/built car on here is a one off. I am building it for me and if takes me another 3 months for the turbo to get here, so be it. I haven’t even looked at the regulations about cages, I know what I want to build but like everything else on this car it will be 100% legally engineered, Thanks for the heads up.
  13. Kind of not too worried about how long it takes to get here as I am in no hurry. I just want to build it once and build it right. (I walked into my Garrett shop up here and old mate behind the counter recommend to me the BorgWarner and told me how much better they were. I thought about it and a week later I went back and ordered one). I might slap together a weld in cage (up to spec standards) if I feel up to it, because I think I will need one in the not too distant future.
  14. That does mean a lot to me. Thank you
  15. Geeez …. You’ve just made me go all fuzzy and warm
  16. I haven’t been out in awhile because the old bomb has been off the road.
  17. Update…..well not really; I have just spoken with BorgWarner Australia to find out where my turbo is, they have no idea when turbo will arrive. "There are none in the world"! We will have to wait until shipping advice is received from BorgWarner Germany. (I put down a deposit on my EFR BorgWarner Turbo over 3 months ago)
  18. That’s gold :y: Love your attitude Can I use the above in my signature
  19. I have ordered an “EFR BorgWarner” turbo about 6 weeks back and I’m hoping I will have it within the next 2 weeks. I have ordered a “B1 frame” (T25 housing) which should see very little lag.
  20. What colour is that ….. its like my paint colour but I do not have any details on the colour code. Is there any pearl in the mix, as I would like to respray my sometime in the future. Thanks
  21. Talk to your engineer before you spend any money
  22. You are correct in saying that the But the reason I asked if it is a 3 (3N71B) or 4 (4N71B) speed, is that I am to believe the 3N71B is the better box and will handle more power. Thanks for letting me know its a 4 speed.
  23. PM sent
  24. There is the slightest bit of movement with the bush inserted into the pipe (this will allow for fitment error/alignment and a bit of cushioning for the solid engine mounts). But once you tighten up the bolt running through the engine mount there is no noticeable movement. If you were here in Cairns I would say come around to have a look. All the best
  25. Jatco box ~ 3 or 4 speed ?
