leave him alone dwarf

leave the poor carpet snake ALONE, They are only pythons and would only bite you, if you rounded one up and started poking it. if one did bite you, you may still want to visit the hospital due to possible infections from the bite.
-
wow we won you over, it was a lot of hard work
-
just looks like a harmless carpet snake. :) he looks like he has just had dinner, maybe a rabbit. wots up Doc

I see that most of you are starting to agree with my first post and all other posts, basicly stating that the thrust of the turbines will push the aircraft to take of speed, regadless of the speed of the conveyer.
-
thought I might just throw a spanner in to the works. did you know that the bottom of the tyre is always stationary with the ground at any speed, however that is only the part touching the ground. think about that next time your driving your rolla
-
that depends on how much thrust you want to apply, you can move any thing with out wheels if you throw enough trust behind it, imagin throwing a 747 engine in to your rolla and lighting her up even with out wheels it will start moving. Rolls-Royce RB211 (50,100-53,110 lb. thrust) Plus it does not matter if the plan is on skids or its belly the sliding friction would be simla, friction is not dependent on suface area, only weight however with out wheels or skids control may be a little difficult
-
The air craft will fly, the thrust is acting upon the air not the conveyer belt. The wheels are just free loaders (they just get a free spin)
-
how do we find out what the number of post there are to go? I sure it wont take long to get to the one hundreth thousand post
-
why don't we biuld one and see how it goes. I am first inline to be the test pilot :D I believe I would have the most flying hours, 12 hours on a student lincenc and 1 solo flight in a ultralight. Can any one beat that? soon I will be flying hang gliders, I am currently learning. There is absolutly no link between the engin and the wheels. the only thing that moves an aircraft is the thrust created by the turbines or props.
-
I was thinking along the same lines, any ways as I said before it would not matter which way the conver was moving, the plane does not reliey on the the speed of the belt, just the speed of the air
-
would it be possible to get the drive line of a tercell and wack it in my AE 82?
-
the convayer belt would have no effect on the aircraft, since unlike a corolla the aircraft does not reliy on the ground to move, there is no drive line attched to the wheels. The aircraft would use the air to push its self and not the conveyer and thus gain speed for take off. The only problem I can see with this setup is that the wheel berings will fail pematurly due to excess rotations cause by the conveyer belt manitaing the same speed I reread the question and I get the impression that the belt is designed to keep the wheels still. "The conveyer belt is designed to exactly match the speed of the wheels at any given time, moving in the opposite direction of rotation. " and the belt is moving in the same direction as the aircraft. any way an aircraft don't care how fast its wheels are spinning as long as its air speed is right it will take off :D

I found a timing light Results. timing before I started was at least 20 or more before TDC timing I set by ear was about 3 before TDC timing I set with timing light today 9 before TDC now she is running sweet, enough power and no pinging. thanks guys
-
weired that no one in the video looks excited and the guy taking the video just keeps on rolling the flim as if its nothing out of the ordanary, insurans job? that thing looks like a turbo that made something hot and inturn made it firery, can that happen if a turbo is not installed by a pro.
-
I believe there are no points, could this be because it has an electonic ignition, the backfiring only occures when I use the enging to slow me down a hill, not under power I hope you did not tak me serouly when I said "why did I listen to you about the timing :) Tinkabell has lost her tinkle  " now I can drive it with out hearing the tinkle. I think that pinging puts strain on the engine, am I correct?
-
why did I listen to you about the timing :( Tinkabell has lost her tinkle :( Hey does any one have a tinkle sound track to put the tinkle back in my car. now I am going to have to change her name :) maybe snap cracle pop :P yes that works with all the back firing she does. I am thinking about riping the head off and taking a look, see if I can find the reason for the running on this time it only lasted about 5 seconds

Name : James Cars : AE 82 4a-c have owned it for 6 months paid $300, replace choped out 4 speed box with 5 speed, installed fluro in roof trim, installed head light buzzer, replaced timing belt, raditor, SV 20 Camry really want a KE 55 coupe .. have owned one before. why why did I sell it :) maybe I was over whelmed by the rust in the doors live in brissy Beautiful one day, hot the next

I went to the super cheep man and the only desent light he had was to much $94. I will try to find a mate who has one for me to borrow. I have just had a play with the timeing and found that if I advanced it more it picked up revs and if I retarded it, it lost revs, I now assume why I could never get the idle below 1500 rpm with the idle settings on the carby was because of the timming was too far advanced, I now have it retarded to 1000 rpm... I take it for a drive now and report when I get back I will take notice if timing does anything to the running on tell me more about why the revs change with timing
-
After I install it Nick, as I metiond before the only reason I have had a flat battery is becaus I was not carfull when I was using the rolla as a light source while working on my camry (using high beam).. It really works a treat, unles u r deaf, then you may have issues.
-
what do you mean by maybe give them power when the when accesories is on... my stereo is wired so I can listen with the key off, I wired it in myself to be like that :)
-
since I installed the pezo, my battery has only gone flat once due to working on my Camry at night. good thing its a manul just rolled it down the drive way...vrrom
-
INGREDIENTS: pezo buzzer dc multimetre wire soldering iorn and solder glue find a wire on the ignition switch that goes to accesorys like clocks, raidos and stuff ( must not be on the batery side of the switch) the reason behind this is you need a wire that will be positive when the car is on, and can leak power when the car is off thus creating a negitive. now you must find a positive on the light system, best to be on the far sid of the realay more juice there ( I could not get enough power from the light switch) so when you have your Ignition on and your lights on you have two positives...no buzz when you have your lights on and your Ignition off you have a positive and a negitive, thus creating a circut....BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ now glue the pezo some where under the dash so it does not swing around HAPPY BATTERYS ps use your parkers to make the pezo work. otherwise you may still get a flat battery if you only hook up to the head lights
-
sure Nick, I will see the man at super cheep auto in the morning I am sure he will have one avalible, any sugestions on timing. Gregory reckons 5 + or - 2 deg before TDC

AE-82 4A-C I have had mine at 158ks could not reach the 160... this is after changing my box from 4 to 5 speed. I red lined it in second today reached 80 ks mind you my engin has issues with pinging and running on, after I tune her timing she may go harder
