how much did the twin 40mm`s set you back? ive been offered a set of twins on a datsun manifold for 200 bucks...good deal or not?

yeah but if this was the case wouldnt it stop working as a cigarette lighter as well? it still works fine for that, but it wont power stuff

for some strange reason my cigarrete lighter will set stuff on fire, but wont power any ciggylighter-power'd goodness such as phone chargers, ipod cradles etc. etc.. is it supposed to be this way? or is mine just borked?

Well I'm nearly ready to begin the swapover to make my car a manual, and there is only one last uncertainty left that i need to sort out...and that is; Will the existing starter motor from my auto work with a manual? or will i need one off a manual ke70? thanks guys, youve been great help so far :jealous: :D

well as a bit of an update.. i replaced the fuse and got the light goin...all has been good but now the light will only work on door mode...if i switch it to on, nothing happens?

so youre saying if i take my kickpanel off there should be a 3rd fuse box in there? ok will try that tommorow i don't think the drivers door light has blown...it didnt stop working until i went to replace the interior light

ive contacted queensland transport about this quite recently...i was told no larger than 2" higher

Hey all ive gone to replace the bulb in the interior light...but it still doesent work, and now the door light beside the steering wheel no longer turns on.. ive checked all my fuses, in both the engine bay and under the dash...is there another fuse box somewhere with the interior light fuse? does anyone have a solution to my problem? it would be greatly appreciated thanks - Craig

say i get hold of a ke70 extension housing....will i still need to modifiy the crossmember?

hmm fair enough...i may end up just modifiying the shifter to fit the hole as it is

righto, well if anyone needs parts off this, give me a yell...willing to trade bits for things i need, like extension housings also, my corolla is currently auto, would that make the hole in the floor closer to the dash? i noticed the gear shifter is a fair way forward

how much modifying are we talkin here? also, how hard is it to find a k40 extension housing from a ke70? ill be parting the car out once I'm done with it btw..

Hey all i am very seriously considering purchasing the car in this thread, as its a mate of mine and i want the seats and gearbox etc..etc.. want it for parts http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=7684 i know people have had trouble in the past fitting a ke55 box to a ke70 though...is this true? and can it be fixed? also, will the seats fit my ke70? once ive got what i want out of it, ill most likely strip it and sell the parts on here
