Nah Si sold it before I spotted the ke20 for sale which is a shame as I coulda used it for the ignition with the LPG setup I'll be running. Yeah brad that's the plan make it overrated like yours :) turbo and enjoy. It's just an old 74 corolla. I'd be more concerned not to ruin my 1967 xr falcon 500 before I'd worry about if I'd ruin this or not.

love the strength the jz bottom ends in standard form. think the rb30's rod's don't like going much past 380rwkw from what i've heard. wouldn't be to much left in the turbo now? and trev that's cheating :P lol kidding. pretty happy with my guess considering i've never had anything to do with tuning car's or even owned a tuned car. actually now i think of it i aint even been in a dyno tuned car :(

Thanks mate. Yeah the couple I got it off thought it also had the o.g tool kit, but found it was actually missing. Want to see if I can get the plates renewed in the white on black. Leave the 12" wheels on it if it'll manage to get traction with the 5kt when that goes in. But yeah last thing I wanna do is ruin it.

as far as i know they are ke70 front seats ;) all i could find was that it was based off a powerglide. if the bellhousing's are interchangeable that would be awesome :)

pity powerglide bits don't fit straight inside though :( someone link to info on the toyoglide and powerglide relations? :) is anything interchangeable between the to?

anyone know any secrets to setting up a leaf sprung rear for drift? wanna share?

as far as i know you can just swap the bellhousing's over mate, pretty sure it goes for any of the jatco's including rx7's etc. if my sr20 wasn't in the ke36 i could check, cause i got an sr20 jatco in there and a vl jatco in the shed. oi phil what bellhousing were they going to use on the powerglide? does the toyoglide bellhousing bolt up? and justin in a few weeks i'll have my 5kt :) but no idea when it'll be in the car, not sure if i want to rego it now for the mrs to drive or if i'll wait until a couple months before i get my license back, cause atm i still got 6 and a half months left to go.

yeah the toyoglide is sick lol. yeah does look heaps better clean, still needs paint though a fair bit of it is cracked :(

gave the rear and the passenger side of the car a quick scrub, after i took a pic of the toyoglide badge. hose won't reach the front or drivers side :( got some carpet laid out in the garage now under the ke20. and noticed i have another badge i didn't know of pity it's only on the driver's front guard. front windscreen is still filthy from the locust's the 20 killed on the trip home lol.

There are a few rust spots nothing That really looks serious. Engine is leaking oil from somewhere gotta clean it to try and find it lol. And nah 1st gear on the spot will just stall up lol. Ah that's what it's for. I shoulda looked what the bolt was going to. It has got a anchor point through the parcel shelf. Good to know that I can easily add another if need be later down the track. Oh yeah not sure if I've mentioned or not yet, but the car is a 1974 model.

picture time. and yes my car is filthy, have not had a chance to clean it yet. plan to clean it over the weekend. also remembered the brakes were all re done in this only 2 months ago. lady i bought it off said she spent $400 on them. and who else thinks my number plates have been gone over with whiteout or paint lol? notice the angle in the boot, no idea what it's there for? pretty happy with how straight she is, one dent in the rear bar. seats need a re trim. and just need a drivers door and front guard, there pretty bad. here's the pic's.

i wish i could do a 12a in my ke20, but it's to big cause rotaries classified as twice their size, 5kt will do though. get some more vids up mate. i wanna hear this thing some more. love it mate.

I can't really help it when I buy over 4 grand worth of parts and now 13 months later I'm still waiting for half of it. Which is why I was going to boost the falcon as I was sick if waiting for parts for the vl. Got over the idea of spending money on the falcon pretty quick. Sr20 ke36 was the mrs car and she don't want it anymore so it's going. Plus it was going to cost to much. And my purple ke36 I'm waiting over a year so far for my cousin to paint it so I can't help that either. You've been through how many different engines in your black ke70 and it still hasn't been on the road for how long? Lol

Bring on the boosted k's :) Oh yeah. Something I was happy with. The car has a pretty overrated kmh cluster :) will get some more pics of the car tomorrow. Garage light won't be bright enough tonight lol

Falcon and the ke20 are both running and driving. And after this is regoed motor will come out and turbo 5k will go in. Then down to a gas joint to get the gas gear hooked up and away we go :) Oh and stopped the other projects so I can save for a house. The 20 is gonna cost me f@$k all to have done

Just hurry up and get my sr20 ke36 and use the sr20 :) it's already got a 4 speed jatco in it to ;)
