  1. My fuel pumps are wired to the ECU, so would that mean the ECU controls the amount of pressure one pumps? not sure might Google it later. 80rwkw is nice, Ive got larger injectors already, but a slipping belt. so prolly not getting the full 12psi same as you stu. id be happy with 80rwkw.
  2. What type of cam you aiming for? I can't see how a cam will help that much. i run a standard one and its heaps good, good power from idle to about 6500. maybe go for a cam that peaks from 2k to 6k? BTW, whay crank pulley is that?
  3. Not sure on the 86 fuel tank, never used one. I know the surge tank setup i got works a treat. so id recommend that karlos
  4. Si, O its happening :P drop rims off tonite actually!! :D Karlos, I bought a Whole KE70 with the 4k, EFI gear, SC12 charger. all the fuel setup ect for $500..

  6. Ill take you for a run when i got mine up and going Ben. As SLO said, there is bugger all lag.. when i drove my setup. it had a slight lag just after idle. but I'm putting that down to a slipping belt, and a rich tune. but F&^K me it pulls pretty hard for a shitty little K motor!!!.. If your keen on SC yours, i got a AC bracket, and i can help ya set it up.. PM me or MSN anyway!! :D
  7. Sorry Si, Someone else has called dips before i even got them. :D Here some pics of the 4k ive got ready. Have Just purchased a new Throttle Body, so will be getting the intake piping from TB to the charger redone to suit. Also got a Strut brace on its way too.

  10. Yeah was thinking a 4AGZE one, but after having a chat to a mate, seems a VL one off a RB30 would suit aswell. Seems with that Setup i can have the full 10-12PSI by 2500RPM so i reckon thats the go!! :D

  12. Small update Motor is running fine again. Also car sits near 2" closer to ground thanks to some lowered springs, and also some firmer shorter shocks. Am running 13x6.5 jelly beans upfront, and 13x6 hotwires on rear. better tyres then those turbine rims had. Also got some new parts for her too Rebuilt 4k SC12 supercharger 4KE EFI with Supra Injectors Surge tank, lift pump, VL fuel pump Electronic Dizzy. Am about to upgrade the Throttle Body, and also the ECU. so if anyone has any recommendations then fire on!

  14. SO, found a Camry TB, not sure TPS is so don't know if is has it.. but its 2 1/4" Quarter inch bigger then my piping.. could i just got from flange to 2 1/4 then down to 2"?
  15. thats a decent price for it. And i think the 4ke looks cooler, but looks aint important though haha. Id go a 7ke setup if i got more serious about building a monster K motor. but I'm happy with me 4ke supercharged 4k lol. anywho, off to the wreckers... TB hunting lol
  16. Yeah, and the limiter sucks on the D5, fuel cut one. i tried it out, f@$ken nose dives into the ground when you hit it!!! :P
  17. Thats why i like EFI, TB before the SC, and no fuel is going thru the SC itself!!
  18. Funny that, he said the D5 in my setup is fine :P Then again i think it was a semi budget build so the D5 came well under budget id pressume :)
  19. Yeah was thinking that, but i don't wanna spend huge amounts on a ecu.. a couple hundred be ok i guess.. got any particular ones in mind? Might go for a run out to the wreckers today and have a looky for a TB.

  21. Well ID is about 43mm OD is like 46mm? if i measured the right part lol. And all the piping is 2" pipe. Got 2" pipe from charger to TB, and 2" from charger to intake manifold
  22. yeap the 4ke one.. And what you mean ID? bolt pattern? size of the butterfly? the opening? sorry I'm a newb at this TB stuff
  23. Just wondering on whats a good Throttle Body to up-grade too? I'm not very familair with this so any help would be great, or a point in the right direction as i have no idea where to look or what for :P

  25. Better then some of the crap some people come out with.. why don't some people use the f@$ken search button, or hey... TRY GOOGLE!!!.... Most of this stuff has been covered, how many f@$ken KE70's have 4AGE's in them.. there is drips and drabs of info all over the place no wonder its hard to find. hell ive given up looken for something once or twice. Thanks to drifter we now know ae ke steering crap don't work together.. kudo's to him for trying.
