Spotted this duche this morning on the way to work. Watched him lock it up and almost ram the ute several times. (Sorry if its someone from here but f@$k!! SLOW DOWN IN THE RAIN!!!) I watched him weave off into the over congested road ahead. So I'd assume that by now he will be needing a new front end. So if anyone see's this guy around and has a early KE70 front laying around, make him an offer. :P

Okay, so I've replaced the wire. I was trying to get the wire out of my 1980 KE55 but since every Toyota gearbox has different wiring I couldn't. So I had to get this one from my KE36. I had to cut off and modify the ends. I also wrapped it up in electrical tape in hope that the wires don't get damaged by anything around it. I couldn't fit this to the car yesterday as it was getting too dark to see, so I did it today. (Burnt my hand against the hot engine.) I did remove the wire all together and replaced the fuse for work today and it didn't blow. So now I've replaced it and briefly tested it. It looks good but only time will tell. thanks for everyones help. J.

Like I notice with KE55's and KE3x's that they have random stuff mounted to the firewall from time to time. Nothing worse than factory A/C. Couldn't look any more back yard if I tried.

I personally don't see a problem. You see lots of stuff mounted to the firewall at different points. Just mount it where ever you want. Should be fine.
